The Aroma Company
The idea of opening our company came from two fundamental elements: a deep love for coffee and a long-standing friendship. It was 2008 when Giuseppe De Mauro, our founder, decided to open a new business with a childhood friend. Initially, he invested in the resale of espresso coffee pods and machines. This experience allowed him to observe the sector from close quarters, study a wide range of models and thus refine his knowledge to understand what improvements were needed to the dispensing systems of the time.
After a year, Giuseppe decided to hand over the business to his partner and return to his homeland to his family. Once back home, he continued to study increasingly innovative dispensing systems, which over the years have been approved and patented. Today the company is run by Caterina and Martina De Mauro, two young women who have chosen to carry on the family business following their father’s example of research and innovation.

Our mission is one: to take Aroma and the pod system further and further afield. Proudly exporting the true ‘Made in Italy’ of craftsmanship and professionalism all over the world.

We believe in a new way of doing business, we work by following our personal values and not those of business. Every day we dedicate ourselves to Aroma with ethics, honesty and striving to continuously improve our products and processes making them more sustainable and innovative.

Our company is ISO 9001 certified, the most famous and recognised standard that defines the requirements for the implementation of a quality management system.
Supervised by an impartial body, the certified company is organized to keep all aspects of the business under control and ensure reproducibility of performance to maintain and especially improve the quality standards delivered.
